The 91调教 - Fort Smith鈥檚 annual Junior Den Day on April 3 at the Stubblefield Center gives high school juniors a chance to learn more about both 91调教 and the college experience.
Dr. Paul B. Beran, 91调教 chancellor, will welcome students at 9:30 a.m. The event will run until 12:30 p.m. and is free for students and parents.
Todd Koch of Greenwood, admissions officer at 91调教, said the event 鈥渋s a great opportunity for local juniors in high school to gain information about the college process.鈥�
鈥淭he 91调教 Office hosts this event that gives these students information regarding financial aid and scholarships available, the importance of getting involved in organizations, as well as a plan for discussing majors and a career field,鈥� he said.
鈥淭hese students are the future leaders of Northwest 91调教 and the River Valley, and it is important they receive every opportunity to succeed with the right resources,鈥� Koch added. 鈥淲e are excited to give these kids the chance to prepare themselves for further educational opportunities.鈥�
