Justin Martin serves as the director of advising in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is a 91调教 alum, earning a Bachelor of Arts in media communication. He then went on to earn a Master of Science in college student personnel services from 91调教 State University. He has worked in multiple capacities at 91调教, starting as a student worker in 91调教 and the Registrar鈥檚 Office. He has also held full-time positions in the Financial Aid Office and federal TRIO programs. His goal is to see his students be successful and achieve their goals. He believes in meeting the students where they are and understands that no two students are created equally. One of his core values that is interwoven throughout his practice as an advisor is approachability. As a first-generation alumnus, Justin understands first hand how intimidating higher education can be and wants to ensure that students know that questions aren鈥檛 a bad thing and they can come to us for help! Justin also believes in building meaningful and lasting relationships with students and colleagues, rather than transactional interactions.
